Statues: Stone and Nature
This study explores the frozen kineticism of the stone figure. Through the lens, the statue ceases to be a mere monument and becomes a participant in the shifting ecology of the garden.
The play of high-contrast light and deep silhouette creates a tension between the permanence of the masonry and the transient patterns of nature. Light rays pierce through the canopy, momentarily softening the rigid contours of the stone.
